Browns fans rejoice, we've retained our 33-year-old kicker!
While the Colts were busy signing former Brown D'Qwell Jackson to a four-year, $22 million dollar deal, Ray Farmer and company were finalizing a new one-year contract with kicker Billy Cundiff.
Cundiff, who converted 21-26 field goals last season, will make roughly $1 million this upcoming season.
The deal doesn't necessarily mean the job is Cundiff's hands down, but it does allow the Browns to now focus on a some of the more pressing issues, like finding a quarterback, running back, guard, tackle.... you get the picture.
Now let's just hope they don't get rid of the kicker all together before the season starts.
